Three artists friends who are interested in anything and everything vintage and antique sewing related- buttons, ribbon, pincushions, thimbles, chatelaines, knitting, and needlework. Karl and Mary Jo Gimber- Hooked Rug Artists, Together they have created more than 100 rugs inspired by 18th and 19th century tavern and trade signs. In their book, Tavern Signs: Contemporary Hooked Rugs and the Stories They Tell, the Gimber's share the origins of historic tavern signboards.
